PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weigh a weight of a linear article highly accurately, while reducing manufacturing cost by simplifying the whole structure, and to take out simply and quickly the weighed linear article from a weighing device. SOLUTION: This weighing device of the linear article is equipped with: a supply conveyor 2 for placing a plurality of linear articles 1 in the reversely U-shaped state and supplying them; and the weighing device 3 for weighing the weight of the linear articles 1 supplied from the supply conveyor 2. The weighing device 3 is equipped with: a receiving rod 4 provided with a stopper 4a on the tip part, and tilted with a downward gradient toward a transfer direction of the linear articles 1 supplied from the supply conveyor 2; a connection rod 5 disposed extendedly downward, whose upper end is connected to the receiving rod 4; and a load cell 6 connected to the lower end of the connection rod 5, for detecting the weight of the linear articles 1 supplied to the receiving rod 4. In the weighing device, the receiving rod 4 is disposed separately upward from the load cell 6 by the connection rod 5, to thereby provide a take-out clearance 7 for the linear articles 1 supplied to the receiving rod 4, under the end part of the receiving rod 4.
