PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit protection bag with which a fruit such as a grape, a pear or an apple is covered to be protected from bird injury or sunburn. SOLUTION: The fruit protection bag includes a bag body which is made of transparent or translucent thermoplastic resin film, at least both edges of which is subjected to heat adhesion other than an opening, and in the whole surface of which many air-permeable minute holes are formed; a light-scattering thermoplastic resin member which is superimposed on one side or both sides of the bag body and peelably heat-welded to both ends near its opening; a thermoplastic tightening string which is heat-welded to the vicinity of the opening of the bag body and includes a holding projection for tightening the bag body to a supporting branch; and a tightening attachment including either of a thermoplastic tightening attachment piece or a tightening wire coated with thermoplastic resin. The light-scattering member is obtained by kneading at least one of a white coloring agent, a pearl-based coloring agent and metal powder into the thermoplastic resin film, or printing or coating the film with the at least one.
