PURPOSE: A connection structure between a select lever and a cable of a manual transmission is provided to remove the necessity of using a separate set pin to temporarily fix the select lever to a neutral position, thereby facilitating the assembling work. CONSTITUTION: A connection structure between a select lever and a cable of a manual transmission comprises a transmission lever housing(1). In the transmission lever housing, a setting hole(1b) is formed. When the select lever is located at the neutral position, an assemblage hole(3c) corresponding to the setting hole is formed on the select lever. A connection pin(9) is inserted into the setting hole and assemblage hole. At the neutral position, the select lever is temporarily fixed to the transmission lever housing.
