<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the center of gravity of a coil component low and to stably mount the component on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The coil component 1 includes a toroidal core 3 wound with coils 4a to 4c, a base member 2 comprising a bottom surface and wall portions 7a to 7h, and having a storage portion 6 in which the toroidal core 3 is stored, terminal members 5a to 5h provided on a mounting side of the base member 2, and groove portions 8a to 8h which are formed at wall portions 7a to 7h and to which terminal portions of the coils 4a to 4c are led. On the storage portion 6, the toroidal core 3 is mounted having its center axis 12 almost perpendicularly to the bottom surface of the storage portion 6, the groove portions 8a to 8h are formed to the depth of the bottom surface of the storage portion 6, and the terminal portions of the coils 4a to 4c are each fixed while bundled to each of the terminal members 5a to 5h. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
