<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation apparatus can separate a mixed waste plastic containing at least a polystyrene based resin in each plastic composition in high purity, and a separation method. <P>SOLUTION: The separation apparatus includes a stirring tank (10) for placing a styrene solubilizer (30) for dissolving the polystyrene based resin, a taking out port (12) for dropping off/taking out a part of the styrene solubilizer (30) at a bottom part, a heating means (26) for heating the styrene solubilizer (30), and at least two or more of stirring propellers (20) rotated in a horizontal plane arranged so as to be spaced from each other along a depth direction in the stirring tank (10). The stirring propeller (20) gives a convection current parallel to a liquid surface by reducing the convection current in a depth direction of the styrene solubilizer (30). Further, control means (19, 28) control output of the heating means (26) and rotation of the stirring propeller (20) so as not to rise viscosity of the styrene solubilizer (30). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
