<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicast communication method that reduces the traffic of a line connecting a P2P (Peer-to-Peer) network and an access network. <P>SOLUTION: The multicast communication method includes: a step of (S21) in which a terminal transmits a request to join in a multicast group; steps (S22 to S32) in which the request is transferred in the P2P network based upon an access network identifier and a group address is assigned based upon a group identifier and the access network identifier; a step (S33) in which the terminal performs joining processing by a predetermined multicast communication system using the group address; and a step in which the P2P network transfers packets to an encapsulating device connecting multicast group-addressed packets to an access network corresponding to the group identifier and the encapsulating device encapsulates the transferred packets with the group address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
