<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector type headlight can prevent dazzle to an opposite lane and form an auxiliary light distribution pattern at a suitable height against a main light distribution pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The projector type headlight 10 is provided with a main reflection surface 11a, a light source 13, a projecting lens 14, and a shade 15 to form a main light distribution pattern. The main reflection surface 11a has at least one portion of a position under the light source 13 as an auxiliary reflection surface 16 for reflecting a light flux emitted from a bulb 13 toward a lower end portion side of the shade 15, and on the lower end portion side of the shade 15, there is provided a lower side reflection surface 17 for reflecting the light flux reflected by the auxiliary reflection surface 16 toward an upper end portion 15c of the shade 15, and the upper end portion 15c of the shade 15 has a plate shape forming the upper end portion 15a and on a surface at a position of the projecting lens 14 side, there is an upper reflection surface 18 for reflecting the light flux reflected by the lower side reflection surface 17 toward the projection lens 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
