<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating remodeled wall, easy in construction, and superior in heat insulating performance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a vacuum heat insulating material 10 arranged on an indoor side surface of an existing wall 11 except for a frame 24 of a window or a door, a plurality of core materials are sealed under reduced pressure by being mutually separately arranged at a predetermined interval in the substantially vertical direction in the thickness direction between gas-barrier casing materials where mutual thermal welding layers are opposed. The mutual casing materials (the thermal welding layers) between the adjacent core material and the core material are thermally welded so that the plurality of respective core materials are positioned in an independent pressure reduction space, and an indoor side surface of a piercing preventive plate 13 arranged on the indoor side of the vacuum heat insulating material 10 for protecting the vacuum heat insulating material 10, is not projected to the indoor side more than an indoor side surface of the frame 24. The heat insulating remodeled wall of the constitution is hardly deteriorated by heat insulation in the vacuum heat insulating material 10, and is wide in an applicable range with no problem, since a projection dimension of a wall surface to the indoor side can be reduced, and simple and high performance heat insulating remodeling can be performed.
