<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door sill which is easy in construction and handling, can be provided at a low cost, and prevents deterioration of appearance due to the passage of time of use. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Sliding door sills 1, 1A, 1B are made by sticking a decorative plate material 4 made of an AAS resin with an adhesive 3 to the upper surface 2A of a medium density wood fiber plate 2 formed with a long groove 7 for guiding a sliding door. One side of the decorative plate material 4 is formed as an eaves portion 5 projecting from one side surface 2D of the medium density wood fiber plate 2 to the horizontal direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the groove, and the other side of the medium density wood fiber plate 2 is formed as an eaves receiving portion 6 projecting from the other side surface 4A of the decorative plate material 4 to the horizontal direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the groove. The other side of the decorative plate material 4 in the sliding door sill 1B is formed as an end side eaves portion 9 projecting from the other side surface 2C of the medium density wood fiber plate 2.
