<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a false image for recognizing a vehicle height to assist a driver during running. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A false image displaying apparatus is provided with a display means for displaying a false image in substantially as high a position as the vehicle, on the outside a window of the vehicle. The driver can determine whether the vehicle can pass a place with height restriction by using the false image.
