PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in equipment by ensuring a prescribed cooling capability without being affected by ambient conditions of an installation place. SOLUTION: An electric motor 2 and a power generator 3 are placed on a base 1 while a package 5 is mounted so as to cover the apparatuses. The package 5 is provided with each inlet port 5a, 5a at a position facing each anti-coupling side 4b of the electric motor 2 and the power generator 3 and an exhaust port 5b at a circumferential position facing a coupling 4. When the electric motor 2 and the power generator 3 are driven, cooling air is sucked into the inside of each apparatus by rotation of cooling fans 2e, 3e via each inlet port 5a, respectively located on the anti-coupling side 4b, of the package 5 and each inlet port 2c, 3c of each apparatus. After cooling the inside of each apparatus, the cooling air is exhausted to the outside of the package 5 via each exhaust port 2d, 3d, located on the coupling side 4a, of each apparatus and the exhaust port 5b of the package 5 so as to ensure a prescribed cooling-air flow.
