<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for an organic EL display apparatus, which is excellent in aging stability even when used together with a desiccant layer containing an oxide of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter for the organic EL display apparatus is used in the organic EL display apparatus to be arranged so that the desiccant layer, which contains the oxide of the alkali metal or the alkaline earth metal and has light transmissivity, comes into contact with the surface of the color filter on the side of a pixel part.
