PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which is superior in reproduction performance. SOLUTION: The disk device 1 is provided with a turntable 3 on which a disk 2 is mounted in a freely detachable manner, a clamp 4 disposed opposite to the turntable 3; a clamping means 5 that functions so as to sandwich the disk 2 between the turntable 3 and the clamp 4 and a motor 6 for rotatively driving the turntable 3, wherein the turntable 3 and/or the clamp 4 form on a contact surface, at which the turntable 3 and/or the clamp 4 are brought into contact with a clamp area 22 of the disk 2; and an elastic layer 8 for absorbing wobbly surface of the disk 2, when the motor rotates the disk 2 at a high speed.
