PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a connector assuring a higher efficiency of the connecting operation to an external apparatus, and free of an increase in the number of part items, a drop of the degree of designing freedom, and impairing the appearance of the inside of a vehicle cabin. SOLUTION: The connector mounting structure is configured so that the connector 6 for connecting an external apparatus to an electronic circuit of a vehicle is installed on an instrument panel 1 and that a hood lock release lever 5 to be operated by a drawing motion to the vehicle backward is installed below the instrument panel, characterized by that the connector 6 is arranged inside a space 7 which is secured as a drawing margin for the hood lock release lever 5.
