PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device capable of carrying out restoring operation promptly besides limiting those who carry out restoring operation, to some extent. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device includes an opening/closing body 10 delivered from a storage part 31 and closable by its own weight; a releasing/restraining means for releasing the opening/closing body 10 in a closable manner when receiving an emergency closing signal and restraining the opening/closing body 10 in a non-closable manner when receiving a restoration signal; and an operating part 70 operated to transmit the restoration signal to the releasing/restraining means. The operating part 70 includes a rotational operating body 72 rotationally operable by a separate operating member X, and constituted to sense the rotary motion of the rotational operating body 72 to output the restoration signal.
