<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector device which can be manufactured by a method for forming a wire-side shielding shell in a shape having a level difference between a housing storage part and a tube connecting part due to a size difference in their calibers by bending a punched and developed metal sheet. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The wire-side shielding shell of a wire-side shield connector includes a rectangular cylindrical-housing storage part in which the electric wire-side housing is housed, and a cylindrical tube-connecting part to which a shielding tube wrapped over the wire is connected and which has a smaller caliber than that of the housing-storing part. The rectangular cylindrical housing storage part is connected to the cylindrical tube connecting part through a connecting piece while forming a gap part due to the level difference between the housing storage part and the tube connecting part, and a lid piece for closing the gap part of the wire-side shielding shell when an apparatus-side shielding shell is inserted and engaged with the inside of the housing storage part is formed at the engagement-side front end of an apparatus-side shielding shell.
