PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottled coffee drink containing an emulsifier and having an improved taste. SOLUTION: This bottled coffee drink is obtained by adding 0.008 wt.% of a specific emulsifier and 0.0237 wt.% of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to a coffee extract produced by extracting roasted coffee beans at a suitable temperature, to prepare a preparation liquid having pH 5.6 and a coffee solid content of 1.3 wt.%, charging 300g of the preparation liquid into a wide-mouthed bottle can to give a bottle inner pressure of 0.09 kg/cm2 and a head space rate of about 13%, and then subjected the charged coffee drink to a retort thermal sterilization (120-125°C for 5-15 min).
