<p>PURPOSE: An exhaust device of a diesel engine is provided to prevent the thermal damage of oxidation catalyst by completely burning combustible gas. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust device of a diesel engine comprises an exhaust channel(7), a metal box(10), an oxidation catalyst(8) and an air supply path(12). An end part(5a) of a combustible gas delivery pipe(5) is arranged within the exhaust channel. The metal box is arranged to the end part of the combustible gas delivery pipe. The oxidation catalyst is arranged within the metal box. The air supply path opens an outlet of the air supply path. The exhaust gas mixes with the combustible gas and passes through the oxidation catalyst.</p> |
