LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce a spacing distance due to parasitic capacitance between a data line and a pixel electrode or a common line without forming a semiconductor layer in a lower part of the data line. CONSTITUTION: A line width of a semiconductor layer(108) is smaller than a line width of a gate electrode(102). The semiconductor layer is not formed in a lower part of a data line. Therefore, a separation distance due to parasitic capacitance between the data line and a pixel electrode or a common line can be reduced. An aperture ratio can be improved. Moreover, loff characteristics are improved by a photo current through formation of the semiconductor layer.
