An access network comprises a short-range wireless network that is communicatively connected to a cellular mobile network and to a user-equipment. The short-range wireless network is provided for controlling access of the user equipment to an allowed cell of the short-range wireless network, and for sending to the user equipment a 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project) network message with at least one additional character. The at least one additional character is provided by the short-range wireless network for indicating the access for the user equipment to the allowed cell.
