Control device to control and/or regulate a vertical cut-off line for a vehicle's headlights

The device has two interfaces connected with detection devices e.g. cameras. One of the detection devices detects a radius of a curve passing from a motor vehicle (1), where the control device produces a control signal depending on a signal of the other detection device signalizing the radius of the curve to switch off right and left motor vehicle headlights for high beam light or to adjust a vertical cut-off limit of the headlights by changing the light distribution. The former detection device is designed as a steering angle sensor, a greed rate sensor and/or a wheel angle sensor.
