PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection accuracy in detection of a specific object from an image by discriminating an object existing in the depth direction of the image from an object existing in the vertical direction thereof. SOLUTION: The image processor comprises a preprocessing part 102 for extracting an object area occupied by an object from a processing object image; an area division part 103 for dividing the object area to a plurality of small areas based on the center of gravity of the object area; an inclination detection part 140 for detecting an inclination of the object from the center-of-gravity positional relation of the plurality of small areas; and an object identification part 105 for comparing the inclination of the object with a preset inclination of object to determine whether the object is a specific object to be detected or not.
