<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant using a metallic material for a living body, in which connectivity with soft tissues such as gingival tissues is improved, bacterial infection caused through a part projecting outside the living body is prevented, and adhesion with gingival tissues is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A section of the surface of the metal core material surface section is subjected to two or more kinds of different polishing methods selected from various polishing means and further to a hydrothermal treatment in an aqueous atmosphere including phosphoric acid and calcium.
