PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing label capable of preventing unauthorized use by making the shape of the part that remains on an adherend variable information that can be arbitrarily set by a user. SOLUTION: The sealing label is so composed that: a label base material 11, a thermally activatable adhesive layer 12 formed on the rear face of the label base material 11, a vapor deposition film 13 formed on the thermally activatable adhesive layer 12, and an adhesive layer 14 formed on the vapor deposition film 13 are laminated; and the adhesion of a thermally activated adhesive layer to the vapor deposition film 13 is set to be higher than the adhesion of the adhesive layer 14 to the vapor deposition film 13. By forming the thermally activated adhesive layer by using a thermal printer, the shape of the part where the label base material 11 and the vapor deposition film 13 are stuck together can be arbitrarily set. By peeling off the label base material 11 after sticking it on an adherend, only the vapor deposition film 13 confronted with the not-thermally-activated thermally activatable adhesive layer 12 is made to remain on the adherend together with the adhesive layer 14.
