A micro capsule, an electrophoretic display having the same, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent reflection of light at a transparent high polymer film surface, thereby improving readability. A first substrate(10) has a display pixel. A medium layer(30) is disposed on the first substrate. In the medium layer, a micro capsule(40) where electrophoretic particles(41,42) are encapsulated and dispersed is disposed. A transparent second substrate(50) is installed on the medium layer. A reflection preventing layer(70) is installed on the second substrate. In the reflection preventing layer, light scattering material(80) is distributed. An insulating layer is between the first substrate and the medium layer.
