The structure has a body part (8) and a bumper (2) pointing in a driving direction. A support (6) supports an outer shell part (4) of the bumper at the body part. The outer shell part is laid on an upper side of the support, and has a wall that points in the driving direction and is spaced from the support. A horizontal upper side piece of the outer shell part is laid on a cantilever (11) of the support.
