The present invention discloses a method for processing mobile centrex short messages (SMs), a portal server of a mobile centrex, and a mail server to solve the problem of the low query success rate of mobile centrex SMs in the prior art. The embodiments of the present invention provide a complete processing flow for mobile centrex SMs in non-standard formats, in which mobile centrex SMs in non-standard formats are packaged into mails and sent to a designated mailbox and the mail server notifies SM agents to process the non-standard SMs, thus increasing the success rate of identifying and processing the mobile centrex SMs and improving the degree of group members' satisfaction and recognition of the mobile centrex.
