PURPOSE: A method for controlling brightness of a display device is provided to extend a life of the display device and reduce consumption of a battery by controlling the only use region brightly. CONSTITUTION: A display set value is inputted from a user(S101). It is determined whether the changed display set value exists(S103). If the changed set value exists, the changed set value is reflected in the display(S105). It is determined whether the display set value exists(S107). If the display set value exists, the display set value is reflected in the display(S109). A standby mode is performed until the following display set value is inputted(S111).
