PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an obstacle by a new method different from a conventional method such as an on-vehicle camera or a laser radar sensor. SOLUTION: A car navigation equipment 10 of a vehicle 1 decides that the vehicle 1 avoids the obstacle on the basis of a travel locus 45, and transmits information about the travel locus 45 of its own vehicle to a car navigation equipment 10 of a following vehicle 2. The navigation equipment 10 of the vehicle 2 receives the information about the travel locus 45, and decides the avoidance of the travel locus 45 obstacle on the basis of the travel locus 45. When deciding that it is to be avoided, warning of the obstacle is given to a driver. When the vehicle 2 travels along a locus avoiding the obstacle 5 later, information about an average locus of the travel locus of the vehicle 1 and the travel locus of the vehicle 2 is transmitted to a vehicle 3.
