<p>PURPOSE: A planting block and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to minimize the amount of cement consumed using natural materials such as coconut components. CONSTITUTION: A planting block(12) comprises a coconut fibroid material and coconut culture soil as main ingredients, and sand and cement as a binder. A method for manufacturing the planting block comprises the step of compression-molding all of the ingredients into a predetermined shape. The size of the coconut fibroid material is 3cm or less. The coconut culture soil is processed from coconut skin components. The sand and cement occupy 3-10wt% of the planting block. A mixing ratio of the sand to cement is 5 to 1.</p> |
