PURPOSE: A security information protection device and method is provided to rapidly inspect whether the data requested from a user includes security information or not, and safely protect the security information. CONSTITUTION: A unique information checking module(330) determines whether the file is normal or not based on the unique information of the file. The file is the attached file in the data transmitted between a user terminal and a server. If the determination for the normality of the file is not possible, a security information checking module(340) detects whether the file includes the security information or not and determines the normality based on the result. If the file is not normal, a control module(310) blocks the transmission of the file.
