A light-dividing element is provided with a dichroic mirror surface 16a that reflects light with a first wavelength range and transmits light with a second wavelength range. A periphery portion of the dichroic mirror surface 16a is provided with a reflection surface 16b having high reflectance to the light with the first wavelength range, thereby capable of providing a light-dividing element capable of suppressing variation in wavelength-dividing property depending on the angle of incidence of the light, and a distance-measuring apparatus equipped therewith.
