PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter structure in cold districts capable of draining rainwater into a rainwater gully while avoiding the damage to a rain gutter due to icing through its connection part to the rainwater gully even in the winter in the cold districts. SOLUTION: This rain gutter structure 10 in cold districts is formed by connecting the lower end 12a of the rain gutter 12 to the rainwater gully 13 under the ground, installing a branch pipe 15 from the lower part of the rain gutter 12 positioned above a ground level 14, positioning the lower end opening 15a of the branch pipe to face the upper end opening surface 13a of the rainwater gully 13, and installing a flow passage selector valve 10 in the connection portion 16 between the rain gutter 12 and the branch pipe 15.
