PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain electric equipment having a plurality of base boards for making a predetermined internal circuit in which spreading of failure in the equipment and abnormal operation can be suppressed upon occurrence of failure in a power supply to the base board or a power supply in each base board. SOLUTION: In a plurality of slave base boards 16, the wiring of power supply detection signal for transmitting a fact that failure of power supply is not detected and the power supply has been switched on is connected sequentially in daisy chain from an upstream base board 16 to a downstream base board 16. Each base board 16 has a circuit for determining that there is no failure of power supply when a power supply detection signal input from the upstream base board 16 shows no failure and no failure is detected in the power supply of the base board 16, and a power supply on/off means for starting power supply to the internal circuit when a decision is made that there is no failure of power supply.
