PURPOSE: An input unit for a tuner with a surge protect function applied to a broadcast receiver such as a set-top box is provided to improve a protection from surge voltage flowing into the tuner by connecting a main grounding part to the input unit through a plurality of via-holes. CONSTITUTION: An input unit for a tuner with a surge protect function includes a circuit substrate for the tuner of a television, an input terminal(210), a circuit unit(300), a main ground unit and via-hole. The input terminal is formed on a circuit board(100) by receiving signal from the outside. The circuit unit is connected through the signal line to the input terminal. The main ground unit is separated as a specific interval from the signal line and is physically separated at a specific interval from the signal line. The via-hole penetrate penetrates a circuit board from a lower part to an upper part of the circuit board.
