PURPOSE: An emergency brake lamp switch is provided to use the simple part like the plunger operated by the brake pedal and the supporting clip and to simplify the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: The mounting bracket(1) is fixed at the brake pedal bracket or the car body. The flange(1a) which has the bolt hole is formed in the mounting bracket into one body. Two bosses(2) are protruded into the outer side in the inner side of the mounting bracket. The tip-end part of one side of the clip(3) which has the cutout hole is inserted between the bosses. The part of the plunger(4) which has the circular cross-section is inserted in the cutout hole of a clip. The plunger includes the connection part(4a) of the circular bar-shaped, the supporting part(4b), the insertion part(4c), and the clip extension(4e) of the spring attached part(4d) and cone-shape. The pressure projection(4f) is formed in the front end face of the insertion part of a plunger. The first terminal(8a) is connected to a lamp. The second terminal(8b) has the earth terminal.
