PURPOSE: A transfer paper for glass and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent moisture and organic solvents from permeating into an adhesive layer in order to lower failure rate as well as work inefficiency. CONSTITUTION: A transfer paper for glass comprises a base layer(10), release layer(20), protection coating layer(30), shielding layer(40), patterning layer(50), and adhesive layer(70). A water-resistant costing layer(60) is laminated between the patterning layer and adhesive layer to prevent moisture and organic solvents from permeating into the patterning layer and adhesive layer. The water-resistant costing layer is composed of 0.3-0.5wt% reinforced polyester, 5-10wt% vinyl chloride resin, 10-15wt% modified acrylic resin, 0.5-0.7wt% fluorine-based water repellent, 15-20wt% epoxy polyimide, 5-10wt% polyurethane resin, 20-30wt% MEK, 20-30wt% toluene, and 0.5-1.0wt% reaction catalyst.
