PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preserve food over a long period, while securing the food storage volume of a storage chamber with an inexpensive structure, in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: This refrigerator has a low pressure chamber 24 arranged in the storage chamber, and a pressure reducing means for reducing pressure in the low pressure chamber 24. The low pressure chamber 24 has a low pressure chamber body 40 having a food taking in and out opening part 42a on a front face, and a low pressure chamber door 50 for opening-closing the food taking in and out opening part 42a. The low pressure chamber door 50 has a resin door body 51 for opening-closing the food taking in and out opening part 42a. The door body 51 has a reinforcing means 51b inserted into the food taking in and out opening part 42a. The reinforcing means 51b is composed of an upper side rib and a lower side rib projecting to a back face side central part of the door body 51, and a vertical rib for connecting these ribs, and is inserted into a central part in the food taking in and out opening part 42a.
