PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device or the like capable of preventing deposition of dust or the like on printed materials, and protecting the printed materials. SOLUTION: Printed materials 124 discharged from a printer discharge port 320 of a printer 310 are held on a receiving bar 324 installed diagonally with an adequate inclination from a rear face of a stock part 321 to a bottom part of a printed materials take-out port 209. At least two receiving bars 324 are provided to prevent any drop of the printed materials 124 discharged from the printer 310. The installation spacing of the receiving bars 324 is set to be <1/2 of the length of the long side of the printed materials 124. An openable/closable colored plastic plate 203 of a dark color system such as brown, black, blue, green and red is installed on a front side of a lower stage part of an image output device.
