PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to configure a broadcasting antenna by a chip antenna and a conductive plate, thereby maximally reducing electric length of an antenna through a chip. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal includes a terminal case and an antenna(20). The antenna is built in the terminal case. The antenna receives a broadcasting band. The antenna includes a chip antenna(21) and a conductive plate(24). In the chip antenna, a conductor(22) is patterned on an insulating chip(23). The chip antenna determines an operation length of the broadcasting band. The conductive plate is connected to the chip antenna. The conductive plate has a predetermined area to induce main radiation at the broadcasting band.
