<p>The changeable indicator comprises an exchangeable filter cartridge, a lid (1) having a filling opening (2), which has a closure mechanism (3), an electronic counter mechanism, which cooperates with the closure mechanism, and a unit to read an optical and/or audible signal during reaching predetermined water levels. The closure mechanism is designed, so that it partially opens itself during filling of water and activates the counter mechanism. The counter mechanism is designed, so that it first counts after a given opening time of the closure mechanism. The closure mechanism has magnets. The projection is arranged on the opposite side of the hinge and interacts with the counter mechanism. A spring (4) holds the closure mechanism in an unloaded condition in a closed position. The filling opening is formed as a funnel. The closure mechanism is arranged at a lower end of the funnel. The counter mechanism has a unit for measuring the opening time of the closure mechanism, a resetting switch and an arrestable unit for considering a time, which is passed since the last change of the filter cartridge, and is formed as a module.
