High tenacity yarn with profiled filaments

摘要

The profiled filaments have a titre of 1 - 7 dtex and strength of at least 60 cN/tex. The cross section of the filaments features 5 - 8 corners and indentations are located between the corners. The cross section resembles a star and the filaments have a breaking elongation of 15 - 35 %. An Independent claim is made for the application of the yarn in industrial textiles and airbags.
