A connection structure between a new building and the existing building is provided to connect new buildings adjacent to the existing building horizontally via a horizontal connection damper to improve the earthquake-resistance of the existing building. A connection structure between a new building and the existing building comprises a connection girder(31) and a connection bottom plate(32) which are connected to the existing building(10) when constructing a new building(20). The connection girder and bottom plate are extended toward the existing building. A damper(40) is equipped on the existing building side end of the girder. One end of the damper is fixed to the existing building so that only the end of the girder of the new building is connected to the existing building via the damper and earthquake load acting on the existing building is attenuated by the damper.
