The cooler (20) has an enclosure (25) provided with an air inlet (21), an air outlet (22) and a heat exchange circuit (23) that is defined for air in volume of the enclosure between the air inlet and the air outlet. A liquid retention capacity (26) presented in form of retention volume is placed adjacent to the enclosure volume and collects liquid e.g. oil or fuel, accumulated in the enclosure volume during functioning of the cooler. The retention capacity is separated from the enclosure volume by an open wall (27).
