SOUND PROCESSING UNIT AND COCHLEAR IMPLANT HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A sound processing unit for a cochlea implant and a cochlea implant including the same are provided to improve psychological stability of a patient who has difficulty in hearing by mounting a power supply part in a sound processing unit. CONSTITUTION: A case includes a sound processing part(210) and a battery receiving part(212). The sound processing part converts an external sound signal into an electrical signal. The sound processing part delivers the converted electrical signal to an electric stimulus generating device transplanted in a human body. A battery receiving space is formed inside the battery receiving part. A battery housing is coupled outside the battery receiving space of the case. The battery housing fixes a battery to the case. A protrusion of one side of the battery housing is inserted to an inner space of the case. A removal protrusion(222) is formed in one surface of the battery housing.
