A wind power generating mechanism realizing power generation over a wide range from a low wind velocity region to an intermediate/high wind velocity region without a sacrifice in power generation efficiency in the intermediate/high wind velocity region. In the combination with an induction power generating body section (4), a synchronous low rotation speed power generating section (5) generating power in a region of lower rotation speed than that of the induction power generating body section (4) is provided so that the synchronous low rotation speed power generating section (5) continues to generate power during power generation at the induction power generating body section (4). Best power generation efficiency rotation speed of the synchronous low rotation speed power generating section (5) is preferably set equal to power generation rotation speed of the induction power generating body section (4). |
