<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for high-performance optical pick-up members capable of corresponding to larger volume treatment and speeding-up treatment of data treated by a digital disk driving apparatus, though correspondence to these requirements has been impossible in the conventional resin composition composed of a liquid crystal polyester and an inorganic filler such as glass fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The subject wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester obtained by polycondensing a monomer having a specific composition, having ≥400°C melting point or ≥400°C liquid crystal starting temperature and (B) 5-100 pts.wt. glass fiber whose number-average fiber length is 50 to 200 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
