High voltage circuit breaker

The circuit breaker has a mixing chamber (32) which is formed according to the type of a hollow cylinder, where the mixing chamber has two circular ring-shaped front sides (3,3'). One of the both front sides is formed by two plates which are arranged axially against each other. The hot gas is flown against one of the both front sides. A radially aligned annular gap is arranged between the both plates, by which the supplied hot gas flows in the inner side of the mixing chamber predominantly in radial direction.
