PURPOSE: A rolling reduction device for a ship is provided to reduce rolling without separate devices by filling a hatch cover installed in the deck of a ship with water and using as a water tank damping rolling. CONSTITUTION: A rolling reduction device for a ship comprises a hatch cover(100), a barrier(104), and a hole(106). The hatch cover is installed on the cargo hold entrance of the ship. The inner space of the hatch cover is filled with fixed amount of the water. The barrier is installed inside the hatch cover at constant intervals. The hole is formed on the barrier and controls the movement period of the filled water.
