PURPOSE: An authentication system using a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to summarily authenticate user in a plurality of security devices by summarily managing an identification number for authentication. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(10) includes a short distance communication unit which performs short distance wireless communication and a storing unit which stores at least one or more identification information. A managing device(20) comprises a security device and an authentication device which controls the security device. The security device receives the identification information through the short distance wireless communication from the mobile communication terminal. The authentication device authenticates the received identification information by comparing the received identification with pre-stored identification information. The security device comprises a parking lot entrance device(110), a parking lot position authentication device(120), a parking lot wireless emergency call device(130), a common porch entrance device(140), an elevator entrance device(150), and a household porch entrance device(160).
